Frequently Asked Questions

We know booking a first aid course can come with a few questions. Here are the answers to the ones we’re asked most often

  • Our courses are delivered in a blended format meaning the theory and online assessment are completed in your own time, before the practical day. This way, when we get together in person, we can focus entirely on hands-on skills, real scenarios and any questions you have.

No sitting through hours of theory in a classroom, just the good stuff.

  • It depends on what you need it for:

CPR (HLTAID009): Best if you only need CPR or a quick refresher

Provide First Aid (HLTAID011): Ideal if you need full first aid certification for work or general use

Education & Care First Aid (HLTAID012): Designed for educators and carers working in schools or childcare

If you’re still unsure, feel free to contact us and we’ll help you choose the right option

  • Most first aid certificates are valid for 3 years, with CPR recommended to be renewed every 12 months to keep your skills current.

    As a guide:

    CPR (HLTAID009) : Renew every 12 months

Provide First Aid (HLTAID011): Renew every 3 years

Provide First Aid in an Education & Care Setting (HLTAID012): Renew every 3 years

We’ll also remind you when it’s time to renew, so you don’t have to keep track yourself

  • Yes! At our Kellyville office we keep our public courses small (maximum 4 students) so everyone gets proper hands-on time, but we also run onsite training for workplaces, schools and larger groups. Just get in touch and we’ll organise something that works for you.

  • You can reach us anytime using the button on this page or call our team on (02) 8678 6046. We’re always happy to help.

  • Just yourself, your phone and comfortable shoes. We’ll take care of everything else.

  • Expect a relaxed, supportive environment where you’ll actually practise the skills, not just sit through slides. We keep classes small, explain things clearly, and make sure you leave feeling confident, not just holding a certificate.

We keep our public courses small, maximum 4 students, so you get real hands-on time, not a seat in a crowd.
